I profoundly believe in our innate possibility to heal, to connect and feel alive even after the most extreme circumstances.

I believe too, in the power of community as a force founded in reciprocity, where everybody has a voice and ownership of their inner power that comes from our identity, our culture, our heritage, our family stories and the systemic and historical circumstances that surround us.

Last but not least, I believe in the arts and its power to hold uncomfortable and challenging, but necessary, conversations to heal as human beings;  finding pride in calling myself a poet.

Inspired in these principles, I have been working with children, youth, women and families in community based agencies since 2008 and private practice since 2015.

I have a Masters in Expressive Arts Therapy and hold education in Creative Writing, Systemic Therapy with focus on Community and various trainings in trauma informed body/somatic centered approaches.
